OUR FOUNDER
With over 15 years of experience in the event industry, Lauren has seen it all—from catering and hotel management to working with venues and event agencies. This extensive background gave her a unique, well-rounded perspective on the inner workings of the industry. However, after years of learning and honing her skills, Lauren felt the time was right to bring everything full circle by creating her own company—one that would revolutionise the way brides and grooms experience the planning of their big day.
Her vision for O&O Events was simple yet powerful: to make the planning process a true reflection of each couple’s unique personality, values, and love story. Lauren is passionate about bringing those elements to life through bespoke designs and aesthetics that feel personal, meaningful, and memorable. She believes that your wedding day should be an authentic reflection of who you are, and she works closely with every couple to ensure their vision is brought to life in a way that’s as unique as they are.
Background and experience
Since 2011, Lauren has specialized in Asian wedding planning, becoming an expert in curating experiences across multiple faiths and traditions. Her expertise spans all aspects of the celebration, from Sangeets and pre-wedding parties that are fun and authentic, to traditional and sacred ceremonies, and unforgettable reception parties that leave lasting memories. Whether it’s a Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, or non-religious wedding, Lauren ensures each element of the celebration is meaningful, true to tradition, and perfectly executed.
Lauren’s passion for weddings and events comes from her deep desire to create exceptional, personalised experiences that reflect the true essence of each couple. With her leadership, O&O Events is dedicated to changing how couples feel about planning their weddings, making it a journey filled with joy, creativity, and connection.

The opal is also a deeply personal symbol for our founder and director, Lauren, whose birthstone it is. For Lauren, the opal represents her own philosophy of life and design: vibrant, dynamic, and always in search of the perfect light.
